Rack Slot Expiry

Since beginning of 2005, Aces-Star has implemented an expiry date for all rack rental slots. We’ve decided to implement this as the CCIE lab is always undergoing new changes and new hardware changes might be required. If the changes are too massive and we feel that it is not feasible to purchase new equipments, we will give you notice before hand (within 2 weeks after Cisco announced the new changes) that we’re not supporting the new changes. Even if we support the new hardware changes, there might also be some changes to our pricing.

To make things easier, our expiry date policy will follow our membership policy. You will be required to purchase 150 credits (at one go) to “renew” your slots for 12 months BEFORE your slots expire. If you don’t, the slots will expire. The expiry date extends 12 months from the date you purchased the slots and it does not add on another 12 months on top of the current expiry date.

- There will not be any notification for any expiration in rack rental slots and you will have to email us to check.
- All rack slots purchased are tracked seperately.
